Inner Bulkhead Insulators are traditionally made as 3D mouldings.
With the emergence of non-combustion engine vehicles and the “knock” on effect of needing less complicated bulkhead shapes, we can offer 2D components to take the form of the panels without the need of moulding.
These conformable materials offer high acoustic properties so there is no loss of performance.
The reduces the cost of the tooling without any loss of performance.
Flat cut bulkead insulators often offer a weight saving as well.
We do also offer moulded bulkhead insulators if required.
